Glastonbury Girls Run Away With CCC Cross Country Title

The boys finished third overall in the annual league championship meet Tuesday at Wickham Park.

MANCHESTER, CT — Glastonbury's girls and Hall's boys teams ran away with overall league titles Tuesday in the Central Connecticut Conference cross country championships at Wickham Park.

Glastonbury compiled 65 points in the girls varsity race to outdistance Hall, which had 102. Avon was third with 145.

On the varsity boys' side, Hall registered 42 points to overwhelm runnerup Tolland's 90, with Glastonbury taking third at 130.
