Glastonbury Girls Shooting for State Record, Maintain Top Ranking
The Tomahawks will try to win their 50th consecutive soccer game Thursday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — On the verge of setting a state record, two-time defending Class LL champion Glastonbury again received all nine first-place votes in the latest poll of the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association.
The Tomahawks have opened the 2016 season with nine straight victories, outscoring their opponents 56-2.
An 8-0 win over Conard Friday was Glastonbury's 49th consecutive victory, tying the state record set by Trumbull in 1999. The Tomahawks will try to take the record for themselves Thursday, hosting Avon at 3:45 p.m.
