Glastonbury Golfer Places in Top 5 at Division I Championships
The Tomahawks tied for eighth, with a pair of players finishing in the top 15 Tuesday at Fairview Farm.

HARWINTON, CT — After tying for the 2016 Division I state golf championship but losing the title in a three-hole playoff with Simsbury, Xavier High School was determined to do one better this year.
Mission accomplished, as the Falcons compiled a 301 team total to defeat runnerup Greenwich by six strokes to capture the school's first state golf title on a soggy Tuesday at Fairview Farm Golf Club.
Chris Fosdick led Xavier with an even-par 72, while Mitch Nappi and Joe Ensign were among six players tied for ninth at 76.
