Glastonbury High School Gathers Votes in Latest Girls Basketball Poll

The Tomahawks opened the season with eight victories in 10 outings.

GLASTONBURY, CT — For the first time in a very long while, a team other than Capital Prep sits atop the Connecticut high school girls basketball poll.

New London (10-0) assumed the top position in the latest weekly balloting, collecting eight first-place votes, while Capital Prep dropped to second.

Glastonbury High School did not crack the top 10, but received considerable support from voters.
