Glastonbury High School Girls Set State Record for Consecutive Soccer Wins
Glastonbury was a winner over Avon on Thursday.
GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury High School girls soccer team defeated Avon 5-0 on Thursday to set a new state record for consecutive wins.
It was the 50th straight win for GHS. The road to the record is outlined on the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference website.
Trumbull High School had the previous record of 49.
