Glastonbury High School Swimmers Excel at State Open Championships
The Tomahawks placed ninth of 51 teams at the State Open Saturday at Yale University.

NEW HAVEN, CT — For the second straight year, and 17th time since 1980, Greenwich High School breezed to victory in the State Open girls swimming championships Saturday at Yale University.
The Cardinals compiled 510.5 points to easily outdistance runnerup Ridgefield, which had 400.5.
Glastonbury placed ninth with 200.5 points.

A new state record was set in the 50 freestyle, and Open records were broken in the 200 medley relay and 100 breaststroke.
