Glastonbury Housing Authority Project To Be Reviewed Tuesday
A multi-unit proposal from the Glastonbury Housing Authority is on the books.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A proposal by the Glastonbury Housing Authority to develop land on Nye Street is scheduled to be reviewed Tuesday by the Joint Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Planned Area Development Subcommittee.
A special meeting is on tap for noon Tuesday at town hall.
The preliminary plans calls for a zone change from Planned Employment to Residence A and Planned Area Development for 11.33 acres on the north side of Nye Road. No. 50 is the official address.

Between 60 and 70 residential units in eight duplex buildings; a half-dozen four-unit buildings; and three, eight-to-10-unit buildings are proposed.
A total of 2.55 acres will be dedicated as open space and .82 acres will be set aside for a for a conservation easement, according to the plans.
