Glastonbury Makes Top 10 of Initial Girls Soccer Poll

The Tomahawks opened the 2018 season with three wins and a tie.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Coming off a Class LL girls soccer state championship last season, the Ridgefield Tigers are out to retain that position by posting shutout victories in their first four games this season.

Ridgefield was the unanimous choice of coaches as the top team in Classes LL/L. Staples was second in the first week of voting, followed by Suffield.

Glastonbury High School tied with Southington for sixth in the initial balloting.

Granby Memorial High School was the leading votegetter among Classes M and S schools.
