Glastonbury Man Accused of Vandalizing Kim Kardashian Books
He was caught at a local bookstore, police said.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A man is accused of taking his proclaimed disdain for Kim Kardashian a little too far, police said.
At 3:30 p.m. on Monday, police received a call from the local Barnes & Noble that six Kim Kardashian "Selfish" books had been smeared with a red liquid, according to an arrest report.
The act was caught on video surveillance and the culprit was identified as 74-year-old Carl Puia, of 44 Prospect St., Glastonbury.

Puia left a lengthy, type-written dissertation on his dislike for Kardashian and "people like her," according to an arrest report.
He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and is due in court on March 22, police said.
