Glastonbury Man Charged With Gun-Related Sexual Assault
A Glastonbury man arrested last week after a gun incident in a car is now accused of a gun-related sexual assault, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury man was arrested last week by state police after a gun incident inside a moving car is also facing local charges for a sexual assault involving a firearm, Glastonbury police said.
Gonzalo Cisneros-Yanes, 26, whose listed address is on Goodrich Road in Glastonbury, was arrested by Glastonbury police on Nov. 2. He was charged via a warrant with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
The alleged sexual assault took place on or about Oct. 29, according to an arrest report. Cisneros-Yanes is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his home while threatening her with a firearm, according to an arrest report.

He had been free on a $350,000 bond in the state police case with a Nov. 15 return date and was being held on a $500,000 bond for the Glastonbury charges and was to appear in court Monday, records show.
At 6:27 p.m. last Monday, state police received a 911 "distress call" from someone being threatened with a gun inside a moving vehicle, according to a report. The car was traveling between the Glastonbury/East Hartford line on Route 2 and Hartford on Interstate-84 Westbound, according to a report.

The caller gave state police a description of the vehicle and state police were able to intercept it, according to a report.
The driver was identified as Cisneros-Yanes.
He was charged with first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, first-degree threatening, second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, according to a report.
State police classified the incident as domestic in nature and said in a report that Cisneros-Yanes was the "aggressor."
