She had first met him about three years ago, but the relationship fizzled because Risley "went to rehab in California," according to a warrant. It was then rekindled about a year ago, a warrant states.

He had gone to the woman's residence on Thanksgiving and the two began "messing around and play fighting," according to a warrant. The shenanigans included the woman grabbing his underwear and unsuccessfully trying to give him a "wedgie," then "playfully" biting him and Risley giving her a "play slap," according to a warrant.

At one point the woman "squished" Risley's cheeks together, and it seemed to set him off. He allegedly hit her with a pillow and then grabbed her throat and choked her for about 30 seconds, according to a warrant.
