A Glastonbury man is facing a reckless endangerment charge after firing a flare gun in a condominium compile.John Lacy was arrested after he fired one shot in the air out of his flare gun in the Milestone Commons condominium complex, according to a Glastonbury Police press release.Lacy, 58, of 39 Parker Terr., was issued a misdemeanor summons for the incident that occurred at 11 p.m. on June 29, according to a Glastonbury Police press release.He was released on a written promise to appear July 15 in state Superior Court in Manchester.

We’re excited to invite students in&nbsp;grades 4–7&nbsp;to campus for&nbsp;S.P.A.R.K.—a free, hands-on&nbsp;morning of discovery&nbsp;at Kingswood Oxford on&nbsp;Saturday, May 16.
S.P.A.R.K.&nbsp;stands for&nbsp;Science. Play. Action. Research. Knowledge,&nbsp;and that’s exactly what the morning is all about. Students will dive into interactive labs, ask big questions, and explore how science connects to the world around them.
Throughout the morning, students will rotate through all three engaging sessions:
Snack Science: Cracking the Code of Carbs, Fats &amp; Proteins
Students will test everyday foods to uncover the building blocks of life - carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
From Cabbage to Chemistry: A Color-Changing Exploration of pH
Using red cabbage as a natural indicator, students will experiment with acids and bases and watch chemistry come alive in vibrant color.
Air Apparent: The Invisible Force All Around Us
Through hands-on experiments, students will explore the properties of air—and discover just how powerful something invisible can be.
