Glastonbury Mother Arrested After Son Almost Hit by Car

The mother let her children bike on the road, police said.

A Glastonbury mother was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor after letting her sons ride their bicycles in the road, NBC Connecticut reports.

One of the boys was almost hit by a car, prompting police to investigate. Mill Street resident Rashetta Tyrell, 32, was arrested after allegedly let her children ride their bikes on the street, police said.

Tyrell turned herself in on Sept. 4, and was released with a promise to appear in Manchester court on Sept. 17.
