Kingswood Oxford student from Glastonbury has been named to prestigious All State Festival

The Connecticut Music Educators Association has named three Kingswood Oxford musicians to the prestigious All State Festival -- and for two of them, it’s the second year in a row.

KO’s All State musicians are Nick Giamalis ‘16 (bass), the son of Steve and Christine Giamalis of Glastonbury, Noah Hawks-Ladds ‘17 (French horn), son of Joshua and Christine Hawks-Ladds of Bolton, and Dan Melody ’15 (viola), son of Doug and Eileen Melody of West Hartford.

Last year, Giamalis and Melody were named All State as well as All Eastern.
