Glastonbury Obituary: Eleanor Earley, 77

Eleanor Earley, 77, of New Britain passed away peacefully on March 15th at her home.

She was born on December 16, 1940 in New York before moving to Glastonbury. Ellie earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Barrington College, in Rhode Island, and worked as a social worker in New Britain. It was in New Britain that Ellie met her future husband Paul Earley. The two were married in Glastonbury on February 11, 1967 and raised four children.

Eleanor was pre-deceased by Paul in 1994, and is survived by her children Paul Earley Jr., Michael Earley and his wife Dori Kowar, Stephen Earley and his partner Jacqueline Byrnes, and Michele Chambrello and her husband Joe Chambrello. Ellie, or Nanna as she was called, is survived by her 8 grand-children Alex, Elizabeth, Sara, Nicole, Brooke, Laila, Lilly, and Sawyer.

The family would like to thank Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice and Keep Me Home for their wonderful care of Ellie.

Calling hours will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rocky Hill on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 9am-11am. Services and burial will immediately follow.
