
Frances (Kryla) Kaluza, 89, of Glastonbury, beloved wife for 50 years, of the late Peter Kaluza passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018.
She was born in Chicopee, MA on December 25, 1928 daughter of the late Michael and Apolonia (Gwozdz) Kryla. Prior to her retirement, Frances was employed for over 30 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. She was a longtime communicant of St. James Church in Manchester. She enjoyed puzzles and word searches, Boggle and Dice with her grandsons, long Sunday drives and polka dancing.
Frances is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law: Barbara Kaluza of East Granby, Janet and Rick Guerrini of Glastonbury and Sandra and Bob Kalosky of Moodus, her five loving grandsons; Timothy and his wife Liz, Daniel, Brian Guerrini and his fiancé Kaylie, Christopher Guerrini and Phillip Kalosky, her two cherished great-grandsons; Jack and Noah, brotherin-law Jan and his wife Jadwiga Kaluza, and several nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her husband and parents Frances was predeceased by her son James R. Kaluza and her sister Bertha Sampson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. There are no calling hours.
