Glastonbury Obituary: Joan Cataldo, 87

Joan A. (Flaherty) Cataldo, 87, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Robert A. Cataldo, died Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.

Born February 14, 1930 in Boston, MA daughter of the late John J. and Mary V. (Burke) Flaherty she had lived in Massachusetts before moving to Glastonbury 4 years ago.

Joan is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Lynn and Anthony Bova of Woburn, MA, Janet and Vincent Pugliese of Glastonbury, Bruce and Judy Cataldo of Derry, NH, a sister Lois Hardy of Malden, MA, nine grandchildren Anthony Bova, Stephanie O’Neil and her husband Michael, Leanne Bova, Lauren Cole and her husband Michael, Crystal Morales-Cataldo, Vincent Pugliese, Nicole Pugliese, Zachary Pugliese, Brianna Cataldo and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Robert E. Cataldo, a brother Jack Flaherty and a sister Carol Michaud.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 1 at 11am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday morning from 9:30 until 10:30am.
