Glastonbury Obituary: Joann Terry, 73

Joann L. (Losty) Terry, 73, beloved widower of Frank M. Terry, Jr, to whom she was married for 49 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. She was a former resident of Coventry and Fort Myers Beach, FL.

She was born October 23, 1943 in Hartford to the late Joseph and Helen (McLaughlin) Losty. Joann was a graduate of East Hartford High School and Manchester Community College. She spent years working for various law firms in the area as a Paralegal.

She is survived by her son Michael Terry of Cheshire; her daughters, Lisa (Terry) Oliveri and her husband Joseph of Smithtown, NY and Katherine (Terry) Garcia and her husband Angel of Coventry; her brother, John J. Losty and his wife Marion of East Windsor; her sister, Susan J. Durrenberger of Coventry; her grandchildren, Marissa Oliveri, Gabriella and Alexander Terry, Benjamin and Jacob Garcia and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, Joann was predeceased by her brother James Losty.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 am (please meet directly at church) at St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
