Glastonbury Obituary: Joanne Connolly, 89

Joanne (Mitton) Connolly, 89, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Garth M. Connolly, died Sunday February 25, 2018 at home.

Born April 7, 1928 in Hartford, daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Miller) Mitton, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1956. Joanne was a graduate of Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA and had worked in the insurance industry. She was an active member of First Church of Christ, Congregational in Glastonbury.

Joanne is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Deborah and Ron Kilyanczik of Marlborough, NH, Mark Connolly of South Glastonbury, Pamela and Charles Lundberg of Glastonbury and 7 grandchildren, Kelly Trombley and her husband Jeremy of Keene, NH, Sara Connolly of Vernon, Garrett Connolly of West Hartford, Evan Connolly of Boston, MA, Gunnar Lundberg, Hayden Lundberg and Anna Lundberg all of Glastonbury and a sister-in-law and her husband Elisabeth and David Hollister of South Glastonbury. She was predeceased by a son Gary Connolly and a brother Ernest Mitton, Jr.

Funeral service will be Friday March 2 at 10:30am in the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 2183 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday March 1 from 5-7pm.
