Glastonbury Obituary: Maria Falcon, 90

Maria Carmen Ramirez Falcon of Glastonbury, wife of Manuel V. Falcon passed away peacefully on New Years’ Day at the age of 90.

She was born September 21, 1927 in Lima, Peru. She is survived by her husband, son, Franco Falcon, daughters, Nancy Ponce De Leon, Gladys Steady and five grandchildren, Brittany Beckerman, Ashley and Laura Falcon and Chelsea and Michael Steady, Jr. She is also survived by her 7 sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by a son Eusebio Inga Ramirez.

Maria will always be remembered for her devotion to her family, faith and passion for life and adventure. She courageously immigrated to the USA with her family in 1966. She and her husband established roots and a great life in CT. She was a true matriarch, loved by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 11am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday morning from 8:30 until 10:30am.
