Glastonbury Obituary: Marsha Parsons

Marsha Mitten Parsons, a long-time resident of Glastonbury, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Ellsworth Mitten and Margaret (Massey) and Lee Cornish.

Besides her husband Edward Parsons, she is survived by her son Mark Finocchiaro and his wife Kim, her daughter Amy Beach and her husband Mike all from Glastonbury. Her treasured grandkids Megan and Kevin Finocchiaro, Miranda, T.J. and Talia Beach. Her sister Pegge Smith of Coventry, her best friend Jude Levi of Rocky Hill, several nieces and nephews and her grand-dog Lily. She was predeceased by her beloved son Gregory (Gup) Finocchiaro, a brother Michael Cornish and a sister Nela Cornish.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, August 15 at 1:00pm in the South Congregational Church, corner of Main and High Streets, South Glastonbury. There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service at Matson Hill Club, 11 Clark Hill Road, South Glastonbury.
