Glastonbury Obituary: Wendy Smyk, 66

Wendy A. Smyk, 66, of Glastonbury, passed into eternal rest surrounded by loved ones on October 24, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.

Born December 23, 1949 in Hartford, daughter of the late Samuel and Eva (Stenger) Smyk, she had lived in Glastonbury most of her life. She had served in the US Army.

Wendy is survived by a son Mark E Mahoney and his girlfriend Jenna Hart of Windsor, a daughter Marcie L. Trahan and her husband Sean of Enfield, 2 grandchildren Kelby Mahoney of Tallahassee, FL. and Hayden Trahan of Enfield, 2 sisters Terri K. Smith of Glastonbury and Paulette M. Caputo of Hebron and her former husband Edward Mahoney of Windsor.

Funeral service will be Saturday Oct. 29 at 10am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday Oct. 28 from 5-7pm.
