Zephirin A. Caouette “Zeph” of Glastonbury, formerly of Norwich, died Sunday December 24, 2017 at Glastonbury Health Care Center.
He leaves his wife of 61 years June (Chickosky) Caouette, his son Paul of Glastonbury, his daughter Michelle Grant and her husband Michael of Brooklyn, New York. He was predeceased by his brother Leon who died in infancy, two sisters Nettie Kreiss and Dorothy Daly, RN, his parents Zephirin and Ruth (Lafferty) Caouette.
He was a Registered Professional Engineer, State of Connecticut. Zeph graduated from Norwich Free Academy, Indiana Institute of Technology and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and served some time in the US Navy. He had been employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, division of UTC for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Dec. 29 at 10 am in the Church of St. Dunstan, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Thursday from 4-6 pm.
