A public hearing is on tap for March 21, at 7 p.m. in Community Room B of the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St. There is also a virtual option. Accounts slated for review are the General Fund, Capital Reserve Fund and Special Revenue Funds. Here is the breakdown: <ul><li>Town Operating — $48,604,244</li><li>Debt Service and Transfers — $13,632,922</li><li>Education — $120,268,065</li><li>Total: $182,505,231</li></ul>Town officials noted that the proposed Capital Improvement Program appropriation for 2023-24 includes: <ul><li>From the Capital Reserve account — $7,885,000 </li><li>From Town Aid Road — $461,217 </li><li>American Rescue Plan Act — $1 million </li></ul>The proposed Special Revenue Fund appropriation for the Sewer Operating Fund for 2023-2024 is $3,404,662.
