Glastonbury Officers Recognized By MADD For DUI Enforcement
Two members of the Glastonbury Police Department were recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for their efforts in DUI enforcement.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Two members of the Glastonbury Police Department were recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for their efforts in identifying and removing impaired drivers from local roadways.
Lt. Anthony Pagliughi and Officer Alexander Maldonado received the recognition Friday, Sept. 18, for their proactive efforts in detecting impaired drivers, according to the department.
The department said DUI enforcement involves more than making arrests, emphasizing the importance of recognizing signs of impairment and taking action before an impaired driver causes a crash.
