June 11
Stauri Yanka, 26, of 20 Porter St., Apt. A, North Adams, Mass., was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny after police say he was caught shoplifting coffee and energy drinks from Stop and Shop. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court on June 26.
Anthony L. Sales, Jr., 31, of 4 Eastman Pl. 3R, Yonkers, NY, was arrested on charges of obtaining narcotics by fraud and second-degree forgery after the CVS pharmacy at 2639 Main St. contacted police to report a possible fraudulent prescription. Investigation led police to arrest Sales for attempting to obtain Oxycodone with a fake prescription. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond for presentation in Manchester Superior Court.
June 10
Shaquille Lee, 19, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass after police say he came to Glastonbury High School to pick up a friend after having previously been warned by police not to return to the property. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court on June 26.
