Glastonbury Police Blotter: May 30 - June 1

Glastonbury arrests from May 30 through June 1.

Glastonbury police released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

May 30
Glenn T. Melzen, 22, of 110 Oak St., Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, evading responsibility and failure to drive right after police responded to a report of a motor vehicle that collided with trees off of Williams St. East.  Police say Melzen fled the collision on foot, but was caught by officers after a short chase.  He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court on June 19.

May 28
Lynn M. Plummer, 61, of 2 Westledge Road, Glastonbury, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police responded to the parking lot of 120 Hebron Ave. for a report of a motor vehicle accident.  During the course of the investigation it was found that Plummer backed into another vehicle while intoxicated, police said. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is due in court on June 10.
