Glastonbury Police Find Wanted Woman Hiding in a Closet

And she is not the one they were initially seeking.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Police found more than a coat hanging out in a closet while trying to serve an unrelated warrant at a house on Stanley Street this week.

On Wednesday, officers were searching 264 Stanley St. for a woman who allegedly skipped out on her probation, according to a news release. Who they found instead was 34-year-old Kristen Kelleher, who was wanted on several warrants, according to a news release. She was hiding in a closet, police said.

The crimes ranged from motor vehicle to narcotics to larceny, police said.

Kelleher has no current address, police said.

A synopsis would be M/V related charges, Narcotics Charges, and larceny charges. She was held on bonds totaling $40,000 and was to appear in court Friday, police said.
