Glastonbury Police Looking for Alleged Thrift Store Thief

Photos of the alleged thrift store thief have been released by police.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police are looking for a woman who stole from a local thrift store run by a charity.

The shoplifting incident took place Saturday at The Second Chance Shop, a thrift store located at 730 Hebron Ave., police said.

Surveillance photos of the woman were released by police.

Anyone recognizing the accused thief can Glastonbury police at 860-633-8301.

For 56 years, the shop has been operated by volunteers of the Glastonbury Auxiliary of The Village for Families & Children.

All sales proceeds benefit The Village For Families & Children, which provides a full range of services for "vulnerable" children and their families in the Greater Hartford region, including behavioral health treatment, foster care and adoption and financial counseling and classes.
