Glastonbury Police Able To ID Pedestrian Killed In Crash: Update
Glastonbury police were able to identify a pedestrian killed in a Tuesday crash.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police on Wednesday were able to identify a pedestrian who was killed in a Tuesday evening car accident after releasing images of her personal effects.
He name was not being released on Wednesday afternoon because police were trying to reach friends and family members.
The crash took place at 6:18 p.m. on Main Street (state Route Rte. 17) in the area of Water Street.

A woman was hit by a vehicle, transported to Hartford Hospital and pronounced dead there, policed said.
The driver of the vehicle stopped, was cooperative with investigators and no charges have been filed, police said.

Metro Traffic Services responded to the scene to assist the Glastonbury Police Department with the reconstruction of the crash and authorities are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the woman.
