Glastonbury Psychologist Charged With Sexually Assaulting Patient

A local psychologist was arrested for sexual assault on Tuesday, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A psychologist with a practice out of his Glastonbury home has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient, police said.

Dr. Clark Allen, was taken into custody at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday morning, police said.

A warrant had been issued for his arrest following an police investigation spurred by a complaint filed by a longtime patient, police said. The patient told police that Allen sexually assaulted her during an appointment at his home office at 180 Hubbard St., according to a report.

Allen was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and held on a $200,000 bond while awaiting a Tuesday court appearance, police said.
