Glastonbury Ready To Serve Up New Pickleball Courts
This week marks the opening of the new pickleball courts in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The new pickleball courts located at the Riverfront Community Center Fairgrounds are scheduled to open for public use on Friday.
As of now, the courts will be open from dawn until dusk. Lights are to be installed at a later date, town officials said.
The courts are the result of a team effort between Glastonbury Parks and Recreation and the municipal engineering department, as well as community support from Jim Smith and Kathleen Nowosadko, two local pickleball aficionados, who provided guidance and advice throughout the project.
