The man is accused of robbing a Subway sandwich shop at gunpoint in November.

The suspect wanted for the November armed robbery of the Subway sandwich shop on Main Street has been arrested by Glastonbury Police.

The 32-year-old suspect was arrested Jan. 8 when he appeared in state Superior Court in Hartford for unrelated charges, according to police.

It was about 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 19 when a man “ordered four cookies and when the cashier opened the cash drawer to complete the transaction, the suspect pulled out a black handgun, leaned over the counter, grabbed the cash in the register and walked out of the store,” police said after the robbery. They also said the suspect is believed to have committed other recent robberies in the greater Hartford area.
