GLASTONBURY, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation is developing plans to remove or replace three retaining walls on Route 17.

The agency said the project will remove One retaining wall (officially No. RW-053-017-003) and re-grade the slope beyond the existing roadway curb.

Two other retaining walls (Nos. RW-053-017-002 and RW-053-017-004) would be removed and replaced with a new retaining wall system.
