Glastonbury Runners Fare Well in Stratton Brook Invitational
Individuals from nine north-central Connecticut schools posted Top 20 finishes in four varsity races Saturday.

SIMSBURY, CT — On a perfect day for running, a number of cross country athletes from the north-central Connecticut region turned in impressive performances in the 36th annual Stratton Brook Invitational Saturday in Simsbury.
Glastonbury High School took first place in the team competition among girls varsity large schools, placing four runners in the top 10: Gaelyn Kattman (4th), Alexandra Ross (5th), Erin McGill (7th) and Brittany Anderson (10th). Kaylen Hughes (16th) and Grace Sparrow (18th) also ran solid races for the Tomahawks.
On the boys' side, Chris Reeves took sixth in the large school event, while Sam Wilcox (18th) and Cam Keenan (19th) also cracked the top 20.
