Glastonbury School Employee Accused of Stealing Computers

The suspect reportedly was hired recently by the school district.

A Glastonbury Public School employee has been arrested in connection with the theft of iPads and a laptop from the district’s technical department.

According to The Courant, Geoffrey A. Sypher, 32, of Essex, was arrested Friday on a first-degree larceny charge and held in lieu of $150,000 bond. Police said the district recently hired Sypher who is scheduled to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Manchester.
