Glastonbury Stores Caught Selling Tobacco to Minor
Two stores sold tobacco products to a minor during a recent compliance check.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Two stores sold tobacco products to a minor during a recent compliance check, police said.
Police said they employed an "underage youth" to enter 10 stores on Aug. 7 in an effort to buy tobacco products. Two of them sold tobacco to the youth, police said.

- Shell Food Mart, 556 Hebron Ave.
- Mobil Mart, 2997 Main St.
The clerks were fined $200, police said. The cigarette license holders for each business are also facing sanctions from the state Department of Revenue Services.
