Glastonbury Swimmers Excel at Class LL Championships

MIDDLETOWN, CT — For the 24th time in the last 25 years, Greenwich High School breezed to victory in the CIAC Class LL swimming championships Monday at Wesleyan University.

Legendary head coach Terry Lowe, a 2016 Gold Key recipient from the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance, guided the Cardinals to 789.5 points, far outdistancing runnerup Fairfield Prep's 666. Cheshire placed third with 474.

Glastonbury took sixth place with 450.5 points, led by 13 top 8 placements.
