Glastonbury Warns Of Traffic Disruptions With Bridge Inspection Work Next Week
Temporary lane closures are planned during a state bridge inspection in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury residents are being advised of a traffic disruption planned for Thursday, May 7, tied to a bridge inspection scheduled by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
According to a town notice posted April 28, the work will affect Bridge No. 00419, which carries Route 3 over Naubuc Avenue.
The inspection is expected to bring temporary lane closures on Naubuc Avenue from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The town notice states that minor traffic delays are possible during that time as the inspection is underway.

According to the notice, traffic control will be handled by GFT Infrastructure personnel in coordination with the Glastonbury Police Department. The town also said the traffic setup will follow Connecticut DOT safety guidelines during the work.
