Glastonbury Woman Faces Larceny Charge
Police say the suspect is accused of leaving a market without paying for nearly $1,000 in groceries.

A Glastonbury woman is facing a fifth-degree larceny in connection with the reported theft of nearly $1,000 worth of groceries from the Whole Foods market on Welles Street.
It was about 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 23 when Glastonbury Police received a report that the woman “placed $994.99 worth of groceries in a shopping cart and exited the store without paying” according to a police report.
Police issued a misdemeanor summons to Kristeen A. Tracey, 53, of 132 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury, in connection with the incident. She was released on a written promise to appear Sept. 9 in state Superior Court in Manchester.
