The Glastonbury Board of Finance last week approved a tax rate for the next fiscal year.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Here is a look at Glastonbury's $186 million budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year, which begins July 1.

The local finance board endorsed a tax rate on March 22.

  • Bottom Line: $186,971,545
  • Tax Rate: 31.93 mills, calculated at a 99.20 percent collection rate.
  • Municipal: $50,305,500
  • Education: $124,471,745
  • Debt and Transfers: $12,194,300

The Capital Improvement Program totals $15,559,141 and will be funded as follows:

  • $7,965,421 from the Capital Reserve Fund
  • $461,217 from the Town Aid Road grant
  • $1,832,503 from the American Rescue Plan Act, or ARPA
  • $5,300,000 from the Sewer Sinking Fund
