Glastonbury's Eastbury Elementary School Not Closing In 2016-17
It is safe for another year at least.

GLASTONBURY — The board of education on Monday decided to keep Eastbury Elementary School open and not close it at the end of the 2016-17 school year, the Hartford Courant reported.
The board moved to put a plan in place to re-examine the school closure next year.
A petition asking the board of education not to close Eastbury included more than 670 signatures and garnered hundreds of comments after two public hearings last month.
