Camp Renmen Haiti is a summer health education and health promotion program for children in Haiti . Education in Haiti is not free and since more than half of Haitians live on less than a dollar a day, paying school fees are not an option to many. Due to this many children are not only lacking formal school education, but also skills and basic knowledge about keeping themselves and their communities healthy. Camp Renmen Haiti is providing free health education, teaching skills and creating the future health educators and health advocates of Blanchard, Haiti that will keep their community healthy.
