How Sculpting Superheroes Influenced My Fiction: a lecture presented by Local sculptor and painter Annie Weatherwax

Annie Weatherwax, Glastonbury native and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, spent years earning a living by sculpting superheroes and cartoon characters for Nickelodeon, DC Comics, Pixar and others. She will discuss how her work as a visual artist, and in particular as a sculptor, influenced and inspired her work as a writer.
Her debut novel, All We Had, was an Oprah’s Editor’s Pick and will soon be released as a feature film. She will also be giving a short reading from her novel. Books will be on sale afterwards.
