GLASTONBURY, CT — A new look has been announced for a landmark restaurant in Glastonbury.

On Thursday, chef Evan Schwartz announced that, after 15 years at Rooftop120, the restaurant space at 120 Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury will become Condesa Rooftop.

Rooftop120 has closed and will give way to "an elevated dining concept on the roof. "

"Condesa Rooftop os set to redefine the local dining and nightlife scene with its elevated Mexican cuisine and vibrant social experience," Schwartz said. He added that the restaurant will "undergo extensive renovations to transform Rooftop12o into a completely refreshed indoor and rooftop environment."

Chef Ernesto Torres and his international background will be leading the culinary team at Condesa Rooftop with a menu featuring a mix of re-imagined tacos, sizzling fajitas, classic enchiladas, and assorted "signature dishes."

Condesa partner Manuel Rubio said, "Condesa Rooftop is about creating something that feels special, but still welcoming."

He added, "We aim to build a place where guests can enjoy great food, great drinks and great energy all in one, whether it's a casual dinner of a night out."

A grand opening will be slated for this summer, the partners said.
