Laughter Therapy and Comedy Improv in Glastonbury Sunday

A comedy improv and laughter therapy performance for local women will be performed Sunday at the Chabad Jewish Center in Glastonbury.

They say that laughter is the best medicine.  And what better way is there to kick the last remnants of the winter blues than with a good laugh?

This Sunday Glastonbury Hadassah and the Woman's Touch are co-hosting a performance of "LOL!", a laughter therapy and comedy improv session at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21 at the Chabad Jewish Center, 25 Harris St., Glastonbury.

"Joy is an integral part of Jewish life," Yehudis Wolvovsky, director of The Woman's Touch said. "I am so pleased we are able to offer this one-of-a-kind event."

Participants in the event will be led by Actres Esther Russel as they take part in laughter exercises and comedic improvisational scenes.

The program will also feature a spring salad buffet and a silent auction.

Tickets are $15 for the event, which is open to the public.  For more information contact Yehudis Wolvovsky at (860)659-2422 or check out the event listing on Patch's Events Calendar.
