Lost: 3 Dog Owners; Found: 3 Wandering Canines

Glastonbury Animal Control is seeking the public's assistance in finding the owners of these dogs.

In less than 24 hours, Glastonbury Police and Animal Control officers have corralled three wandering dogs that probably would rather be spending the night at their forever home with their owners rather than at the animal shelter.

The first pooch is a little terrier that was found roaming on Route 17 on Thursday evening on the Portland/Glastonbury town line, according to police.

Then on Friday, “These two pups were finally apprehended in the area of Exit 10 on Route 2 Eastbound after roaming around the cup-de-sac of New London Turnpike for a couple of days,” police said on their Facebook page. One looks as though it’s a cocker spaniel; the other, a small breed, perhaps a Pekinese.
