GLASTONBURY, CT — An Ellington man is facing three serious charges after trying to cash bad checks at a Glastonbury bank, police said. Michael Boyko tried to cash what Glastobury police said were "counterfeit" checks at a local People's Bank branch in December according to an arrest report.
