A New York City man has been charged with first-degree forgery for allegedly passing counterfeit money in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A New York City man has been charged with first-degree forgery for allegedly passing counterfeit money in Glastonbury.

The incident took place at 9:55 a.m. on Jan. 10 at Staples, 49 Putnam Boulevard.

Antoine Pruitt, 41, of Brooklyn, NY, was charged sixth-degree larceny as well, according to a report.
