Man Faces DUI Charge in Glastonbury

The suspect was arrested by police investigating a complaint of an intoxicated driver.

A motorist is facing a driving under the influence charge after Glastonbury Police investigated a report of a possible intoxicated motorist.

It was at 9:54 p.m. Aug. 17 when police received the report and found the vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Great Pond Road. Police said that the driver, identified as Richard Fantoli, 46, of 58 Paley Farms, Portland, ”was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.”

In addition to the DUI charge, Fantoli was ticketed for failure to drive right. He was released after posting $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear Aug. 31 in state Superior Court in Manchester.
